I’m honored to have taken part in the NBA’s 2025 Business Mentorship Program, a vital part of the league’s commitment to player development beyond the court.
The program, now in its fourth year, gave current players the opportunity to learn more about business and entrepreneurism—from fashion/apparel to venture capital to podcasting to front-office operations—to help them polish their skills and plan their next steps when their playing days are over.
The program serves 24 current NBA and NBA G League players, and the group meetings, speaker series, and one-on-one mentor-mentee breakouts always produce lively conversations and thoughtful questions. It inspires me to see how savvy and motivated these young men are to achieve, in this phase of life and the next.
